Oxblood lilies, also known as Schoolhouse lilies, Rhodophiala bifida,
are like little red trumpets announcing that fall is here :-)
Here's my latest "Diggin' in the Dirt" Newsletter with tips for your fall garden (if you're in Zone 7b/8a)
Happy fall gardening...
Toni :-)
Good to hear from you, Toni! I enjoyed the newsletter, too. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Karen! I'm still out here in blogland -- but busy with landscape business and post on FB a little more often. The blog is an easy way to update my newsletter for clients, though, so I stop in from time to time. I don't know how you find time to maintain your beautiful garden AND write such entertaining blog posts!! Keep up the good work :-)
DeleteHi Toni: So glad your post popped up in my feed. I hope all is well. I missed you! I will check out the newsletter, even though I'm not zone 5a.
ReplyDeleteI meant to say "I'm in zone 5a."
DeleteHi PlantPostings -- amazed that I have any followers left! Yes, all is well down this way. As I mentioned to Karen, I've just been busy with landscape business and find it easier sometimes to post a short blurb on FB. But this blog is the easiest way to update my seasonal newsletter so I check back from time to time. I suppose some of the tips could be adjusted for your cooler zone. ALL that I want to do just doesn't seem to fit in a 24-hr day, so I'm amazed at those who can keep up with the blog posts. My main reason for not posting on my blog more often is that I don't have an efficient way to post pictures without having to downsize ALL of them and it gets tedious. And I'm too much of a dinosaur to figure out another way. Take care and thanks for stopping by !!
DeleteBeautiful! :o)
