Ten-Ten-Ten

Carol from May Dreams Gardens' recent post about the tenth day of the tenth month of the tenth year inspired me to write this poem

After reading May Dreams' post,

I admit that I was smitten,

inspired to carry on

what Carol had just written.

For copying her idea,

please don't think me rotten

Don't delete me from your list of faves,

or I will be forgotten

I could not just ignore

what so cleverly was written

For by the blogging bug

I surely have been bitten

It's fun to read the blogs,

my interest it does heighten

The bloggers post their thoughts and pics

to encourage and enlighten

I get so lost in blogging;

My day it tends to brighten

But the hours that I have spent online,

for some it might just frighten!
